Grinder is always helpful to get fresh powder. The good thing is Bean to Cup Regalia machine has the grinder built into the machine itself.
The grind of Brew is coarse since the coffee is extracted without any pressure. If the powder is too fine, the water will simply not pass through. Fine Grind is best for 15-bar espresso. Finely ground beans have a very smooth texture, approaching powder. If the grind is not fine enough, the espresso shot will not be rich enough.

You may use coffee powder instead of beans. For this you need to use the 1st setting on the Regalia Bean-to-Cup Brew Coffee Maker with Grinder machine where only the water will flow. Wonderchef Regalia Bean-to-Cup Brew Coffee Maker with Grinder has a hot plate under the borosilicate carafe. This keeps the brewed coffee in the carafe hot as long as the machine is on. Keep pouring at leisure and enjoying the brew.
You will need approx. 1 spoon (11gm – 14gm) of whole coffee beans to brew 2 cups of coffee. And approx. 2 spoons (21gm – 28gm) if you need to brew 4 cups of coffee. The spoon is provided with the machine
The machine can make a maximum of 4 cups of Coffee and a minimum of 1 cup based on amount of water being used in the machine. Select 2-cup option to make 1-cup or 2-cup coffee and select 4-cup option to make 3-cup or 4-cup coffee
If you select 2 cups of coffee, the grinder will run for 20secs. Once the coffee powder is ready, the Regalia Coffee Maker with Grinder will automatically start the brewing process. If you select the setting for 4 cups of coffee, the grinder will run for 25secs before it starts brewing

Wonderchef also recommends to descale the Regalia Bean-to-Cup machine regularly so you can enjoy a flavourful taste of coffee every single time. You should descale every 3 months if you use soft water in the machine, otherwise descaling should be carried on every month. This will help avoid damaging Regalia machine.
